Do Investors fund a MVP product company?

Till a couple of years back, investors were funding companies with MVP (Minimum Viable Product) products. But lately, I have not heard of such investments. Are investors still considering funding MVP companies?

There is no right or wrong answer to any question in the startup world. You can still raise funding on a thought if you or your team are proven tech entrepreneurs. A lot work on who you know, who introduce you. But most importantly, it’s all about been in the right place at the right time with the right proposition.

However, the probability increases as you build the product and gain traction. But once you have some traction, then it becomes harder if your performance lags. So there is a prime period to seek funding. Post revenue, it gets harder if the numbers don’t stack up, as unit economies become important.

Then of course, if you have a rich uncle, why bother taking investment from those who might want to negatively influence your vision?
